Scott Aerator Warranty Coverage

General Terms:

  • Warranty applies only to the original owner from the original purchase date.

  • Proof of purchase may be required.


Product Warranty Details

1. Aerators, Fountains, Aquasweeps & De-Icers

  • 5-year warranty on motor (no questions asked).

  • 1-year warranty on all other components.

2. Solar DA-20 & Solar Boilermaker Aerators

  • 5-year motor warranty.

  • 1-year warranty on solar panels and other components.

3. Subsurface Aerators

  • 1-year warranty on solar panels (Solar models only).

  • 5-year warranty on weighted tubing and diffusers.

  • 2-year warranty on compressors and components.

4. Oscillators

  • 2-year warranty on all components.

5. Lighting Systems (RGB & Night Glo)

  • 2-year warranty on fixtures and brackets.

  • 1-year warranty on transformers, remotes, and cords.

6. Replacement Motors (sold separately)

  • 1-year warranty on motor.

7. Water IQ Pulsars, Land Solars & Sentinel AIQs

  • 2-year warranty on all components.

8. All Other Products

  • 1-year warranty on all components (excluding mooring lines and water treatments).


Warranty Terms & Conditions

  • Defective parts must be returned to Scott Aerator Co. (shipping prepaid) for inspection.

  • Replacement parts will be shipped free of charge once verified under warranty.

  • Scott Aerator is not liable for consequential damages, removal/reinstallation costs, or use of non-Scott Aerator parts.

  • Tampering or use of unauthorized components will void the warranty.


Return Policy

  • Returns must be pre-approved by Scott Aerator Co.

  • Products must be returned in original condition with all components.

  • Customer is responsible for shipping costs unless the return is due to a warranty defect.

  • Refunds are issued after inspection and may be subject to restocking fees if non-defective.


Repair Policy

Steps to Request Repair:

  1. Contact Scott Aerator Co. to request a Repair Request Packet (available online at scottaerator.com under “Support”).

  2. Clean and fully dry the product before packaging.

  3. Include:

    • Completed Repair Request Form

    • Signed Terms & Conditions

    • Copy of original invoice (if available)

  4. Ship prepaid to Scott Aerator Co.

Repair Notifications & Fees:

  • You’ll be notified once repairs are complete.

  • Storage fees of $50/day apply after 15 business days without customer response.

  • If a repair is canceled after approval:

    • $56/hour labor for work performed.

    • 20% restocking fee for ordered parts.

    • Return shipping at customer’s expense.


Voltage Upgrade Policy

  • Within 60 days of purchase, if voltage requirements were mismeasured, Scott Aerator will upgrade from 115V to 230V free of charge, with shipping costs both ways paid by the customer.
